For this project, the goal was to create a full visual identity system for a fictional conference. I came up with GachaLore: Character Design in Gacha Games, which focuses on the creative process behind designing characters in games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Wuthering Waves. My logo is based on the “wishing star” symbol that’s really common in gacha games—it's a star with shining lines around it to look like it’s glowing or shooting through the sky. I used pink and purple as the main colors to give off a magical, wishful feeling that ties into the whole gacha experience.

Making the logo work across different formats and sizes was definitely a challenge—I had to really think about clarity and consistency. But I had a lot of fun choosing the color palette. Pink and purple just felt right, and they made everything feel dreamy and playful, which is exactly the vibe I wanted. Since my professor isn’t really familiar with gacha games, I also had to think about how to explain everything in a way that made sense to someone new to the topic.
Our design philosophy focuses on innovation and user-centricity, ensuring that every aspect of the product enhances user experience. We meticulously craft each element to provide intuitive usability, seamless functionality, and a visually appealing aesthetic. By prioritizing the needs and preferences of users, we create products that are not only practical but also delightful to interact with.
